R.I.P. PETER THORP

Peter Thorp (° 25 May 1944) passed away unexpectedly on Saturday 2 January 2021.
Lead and rhythm guitarist Peter Thorp was the only Roulette to be a member from the very first till the very last day – but he was first and foremost a wonderful person who was always ready to help, who trusted me with personal memorabilia after just meeting twice, who went the extra mile to satisfy my obsession with this iconic band. He was the first to stress the relativity of what The Roulettes had achieved and the last to claim any special role in those seven years on the road and in recording studios, radio and tv shows.  Typically, he wasn’t sure what to answer when I asked about the “legacy” of The Roulettes! Let the music he made speak for him.
